Långban’s diving area is located at the middle of the Långban mine and culturevillage area. Värmlandsmuseum is administrating the Långban mine area and Långban Dyksällskap has allowance to dive on the mine.

Project
When a team has a vision, passion, and determination, invisible can be made visible with 3D photogrammetry. It all started with an idea and it grew up as project where the Långban mine is 3D modeled piece by piece keeping in mind divers and museum. For divers aim is to provide better tools for dive planning and familiarizing the environment. For museum the goal is to provide something special for visitors: chance to dive in the mine with VR headsets and feel the historical environment above the surface.
